The Business Challenge

As is the case with many investment companies, RAB Capital had subscribed to multiple data feeds and implemented various 3rd party systems that imported this data. The data flow through these systems was particularly complex and often resulted in inconsistencies throughout the company.

Our Solution

RAB Capital achieved their data transformation goals when Synetec developed a central data-hub that provides a central distribution mechanism and data store, so that all systems use the same data, furthermore the data isn’t requested multiple times from vendors incurring additional charges and that when a new system or spreadsheet is introduced it doesn’t have to mean a major change in data flow.

Results and Benefits

Data flow was simplified greatly; data inconsistencies were virtually ironed out, and easily identified and corrected when they arose. The time spent investigating data issues was also significantly reduced.
