Synetec’s Solution
Synetec developed a stock taking application using MS Excel with VBA. The application can generate both tabular and graphical reports of stock information, warn when stock levels are low, calculate required stock orders; and by querying remote web-services check the status of existing orders.
Results and Benefits
100% Bamboo is able to manage the stock for their business more efficiently, greatly improving its cash flow situation because it can now rely on this application and no longer needs to hold as much inventory . The use of MS Excel as a basis for the solution meant little training was required by its users it was quickly adopted by the workforce.
